Go for Baroque, originally billed as Peggy Payne and Friends, consisted of the traditional 17th century ensemble of flute, violin, cello and harpsichord. In 1986, the Claude Bolling Jazz Suites were added to the repertoire, bringing two more musicians on board–trumpet and percussion. Championing the idea that music does not exist in isolation, the ensemble’s main goal is to build connections between the arts, education, and community development.

Go for Baroque brings a wealth of experience and a sense of humor and humanity to their audiences.
